You can find New Laxmi Misthan Bhandar over in the Sodala area, right on the Ajmer Road. It is a spot that always seems to have something going on. Being located on the main road means there is constant traffic and a lot of noise right outside our front door. We open up the shop early to get all the snacks ready for the morning commuters who are heading into work. The frying usually starts around six in the morning. We make a big variety of things, from sweet treats to the salty snacks that people love. The kitchen in the back is where most of the heavy work happens. It is a bit cramped in there, but we have got a system that has worked for us for years. We have a few regulars who come in every single day for their morning tea and a bit of something to eat. Sodala is a very busy part of town, and we feel like we are right in the middle of all the action. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use the old lanterns until the generator finally kicks in. We do not have any kind of polished corporate mission. We just want to serve the food and keep the shop running smoothly. My brother and I manage the whole place together. We have a few workers who are like family to us over the years, and they work very hard.
