You can find us at B-106, Khazane Walon Ka Rasta, right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar. Natha Moorti Museum is a place we’ve had for years. It’s tucked away in the bazaar, so it stays pretty lively around here with all the foot traffic. We have a lot of different statues and figures packed into the space. It’s a museum in the sense that there’s a lot to look at, but it’s also our workplace. The walls are lined with pieces we’ve collected or made over time. Chandpole is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming in. We don't really have fancy lighting or display cases, just shelves and floor space filled with moortis. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the stone and clay, but that’s just part of the job. We spend our days cleaning the pieces or talking to people who wander in from the market. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting by the entrance. We aren't trying to be a big tourist attraction. It’s just a shop where we keep these traditions going in our own way. The lane is narrow and can get crowded, but that’s just the charm of being in this part of town. We’ve grown used to the pace of the bazaar. Most of our day is just spent here among the carvings and talking to the local shopkeepers.
