Narsingh Misthan Bhandar

Our shop, Narsingh Misthan Bhandar, is out in Shahpura, specifically on the way towards Kakroli. We have been serving this area for a long time, making traditional sweets for the people who live in the nearby villages. The shop is a simple structure on the side of the road, and we do most of our cooking right in the back. You can usually smell the sugar and milk from a distance when we are preparing a fresh batch of pedas or jalebis. It is a local place, so we know most of the people who stop by by their names. We don't have fancy menus or air conditioning, just some fans and wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. Life moves a bit slower out here than it does in the big city. We start our work very early in the morning to make sure we have enough for the breakfast crowd. Sometimes we run out of things by the afternoon if it is a busy day. We just take things as they come and try to keep the quality the same as it has always been. It is a family-run kind of thing, and we are just happy to be a reliable spot for the community.
