Tripoliya Bazar is one of those places where you can't help but feel the history of the city. We are located at number 855, right in the thick of all that old-market chaos. Narayanji Gajak Wale has been around for quite a stretch, and the building shows its age in a way that feels right. The walls are thick, and the air always smells like sugar and toasted nuts. It gets incredibly crowded outside, especially during the winter months when everyone wants a bit of something sweet. We spend our time weighing things out and packing them into boxes. The floor is old stone, and it stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the bazar. There are always stacks of containers waiting to be filled. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pen and a ledger work just fine. It’s a busy life here in the middle of the market. You hear the bells from the rickshaws and people shouting to each other across the street all day long. Sometimes we have to shout just to be heard over the noise of the traffic outside. It's a bit messy and loud, but that is just how Tripoliya Bazar is, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
