Mayuri Kulkarni

Mayuri Kulkarni is the name on the door here at 72/50, Patel Marg. We are located in Mansarovar, right near the Adarsh Girls Hostel and not too far from Shipra Path. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the main roads, which is nice when you are trying to get work done. The space is part of a residential-looking building, so it feels a bit more like a home than a cold office. I spend most of my day sitting at a desk covered in papers and various folders. People usually find me because they live nearby or are staying at the hostel down the street. It’s a simple arrangement where I handle everything myself or with a bit of help. I don’t have a big fancy sign out front, just the address and the name. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and looking over the to-do list for the day. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to say hello or the delivery guys get confused about which gate to use. It’s a very grounded way of working. I keep the windows open when the weather is decent, and you can hear the birds or the occasional motorbike passing by. There isn’t any corporate jargon here. It is just a place where I do my work and meet with people who need what I do. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s a real working space.
