Ma'Am Arts

Ma'Am Arts is located over in the Sitapura Industrial Area, just off Tonk Road. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a lot of industrial sheds and trucks, but inside our unit at G-1-5-1, things feel a bit different. We do a lot of work with our hands here. It’s messy, and there’s always a bit of paint or scrap material on the floor by the end of the shift. We aren’t really the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Most of us are more comfortable in old clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big fans running. It’s not a quiet place, but the noise of the work is something you get used to after a week or two. We started this because we liked making things, and even though the business grew, that part hasn't really changed much. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work while we’re doing it. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big project, and other times we finish up early if the heat gets too bad. It’s a practical way to live. We don't worry about being the biggest company in Jaipur; we just want to do right by the people who use our stuff.
