Kumawat Art Painters

Over here on Nanan Naraina Road in Dudu, we spend our time working with colors and brushes at Kumawat Art Painters. It’s not a fancy studio or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. We have tins of paint and different kinds of brushes scattered around, and there’s usually some project we are halfway through sitting in the middle of the floor. Dudu is a place where people know each other, so a lot of our work comes from folks just stopping by or hearing about us from a neighbor. We’ve been on this road for a good number of years now. The sun can be quite bright coming through the front window, which helps us see what we are doing but also makes the place pretty warm in the summer months. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished website. We just rely on the work we do and the people who live around Nanan Naraina Road. Some days we are out working at a site, and other days we are here at the shop preparing everything. It’s a messy job sometimes, and our clothes usually have a few spots of paint on them by the end of the shift. We just try to do an honest job and keep the business going. It’s a simple life of painting and working with our hands. We keep an old radio playing in the corner to have some music while we work and pass the time.
