Kirti Impex

You can find Kirti Impex over at Shyam Villa, which is number 5 on Dayanand Marg in Janta Colony. It’s a bit more of a residential-feeling area than a big industrial zone, which makes it a little nicer to work in every day. The villa itself is where we’ve set up our office space to handle all the import and export work we do. It’s got a bit of a garden area in the front, though none of us are very good at keeping the plants alive. We mostly stay inside dealing with customs forms, shipping schedules, and talking to suppliers on the phone. The rooms are filled with samples and boxes that are waiting to be sent out or have just arrived. It’s not a very formal environment; you’ll usually find us in casual clothes just trying to stay cool when the weather gets hot. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals pinned to the walls. Instead, we just have a big calendar where we mark down all the deadlines we need to meet. Janta Colony is a decent place to be based, even if it’s a bit of a drive from the main commercial centers. We like the pace here because it’s a bit less frantic than being in the middle of the city. We just do our work, pack our bags at the end of the day, and come back to do it again tomorrow.
