Working out of Sanganer Vishive Nagar keeps us pretty busy most of the year. The shop has been here for a while and we have become a bit of a fixture in the neighborhood. We handle both the walk-in customers and the larger orders for local events. The back room is always full of large containers and the smell of hot oil. It is a bit of a maze back there with all the supplies we have to keep on hand. We are not trying to be fancy. The display cases are old and the lighting is a bit dim, but people know what they are getting. Sanganer is a lively place and we fit right in with the rest of the shops on the street. Sometimes we stay late into the night to finish a batch of sweets for a morning delivery. My boots are usually covered in some kind of flour or sugar by the time I head home. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to take professional photos. We just do the work as it comes. The Vishive Nagar area is crowded, so getting deliveries in and out can be a struggle. We have had the same few workers for years, and we all just know our roles. It is a lot of heavy lifting and standing on your feet for ten hours a day. We do not mind it much because it is what we know.
