Kandoi Murari Lal

Our place, Kandoi Murari Lal, is situated at 21125 in the Mansarovar area on Madhyam Marg. If you know this part of town, you know it is always busy with traffic and people going about their business. We carry a name that has been around for quite some time, and we try to live up to that every single day. The work starts very early, often before the sun is even fully up, because things need to be prepared fresh. There is a lot of heat in the kitchen area, and the smell of what we are making usually drifts out onto the street. It is a family-run kind of setup, so things are done the way they have always been done. We don't see any reason to change things that already work well. The counters are old, and the walls have seen many years of service. On festival days, it gets very hectic and we barely have time to sit down, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. Madhyam Marg is a good spot to be, even if parking can be a bit of a headache for people stopping by. We focus on making sure the food is good rather than trying to have a fancy storefront. It is about the taste and the tradition that comes with the Kandoi name. We just want to keep serving the community like we always have.
