Kalakriti

Our spot at Kalakriti is in the Manavasram Building, which sits near the big intersection of Gopalpura Bypass and Tonk Road. It is very close to the Big Bazaar, so it is quite easy to tell people how to find us. The building has been here for a long time, and you can see that in the hallways and the old elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own. We are mostly surrounded by the materials and items we work with every day. There is not a lot of extra room to move around, but we have managed to make it work for us. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but it becomes like background music after a while. We do not have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception area. It is just a regular room with some tables and a lot of things piled up. We spend our days answering the phone and keeping track of our inventory. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a rattling noise, but they keep us cool enough. It is a very honest place to work. We are not trying to impress anyone with how the office looks. We just want to get through our tasks and make sure everything is in the right place. Being near such a major road means there is always something happening outside, which keeps things interesting for us during the day.
