Jodhpur Sweets

Jodhpur Sweets is located at Jai Ambey Nagar 43, right along the busy Tonk Road. We start our work very early in the morning, usually long before the sun is even up. The milk delivery comes first, and then the big stoves in the back get lit. It is a lot of stirring and watching the big pots so nothing burns. We make everything right here on the premises. The smell of sugar and ghee is everywhere, and you do not even notice it after an hour of being here. Tonk Road is always noisy with the big buses and cars, so we hear that traffic all day long. People stop in on their way to work to grab something quick to eat. We have some glass counters that we are constantly cleaning because of all the fingerprints from the kids. It is a family-run place, so you will see my children around here sometimes after they finish school. We do not have any kind of fancy marketing plan or slogans. We just make the sweets and put them out for people to see. Some days we sell out of the popular items by noon. Then we have to start making a fresh batch for the evening crowd. It gets tiring standing on your feet all day, but we are used to the rhythm of it now. Jai Ambey Nagar is a good community for us, and we know our neighbors.
