We’ve been here at Johari Bazar on Gheewalon Ka Rasta for a long time now. People know us as Jaganath Gajak Bhandar. It's a busy spot, especially when the weather turns cold and everyone wants something sweet and crunchy. Our shop isn't huge, but we keep it clean and make sure everything is fresh. Making gajak takes time and a bit of muscle, stirring the jaggery just right. We do it every day. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic and shoppers passing by, but inside we just focus on the work. My father used to say that if the til is roasted right, the rest follows. We don't spend money on fancy signs or big ads. Most folks find us because they smelled the roasting sesame or their neighbor told them to come here. It’s just how things work in this part of town. Sometimes the queue gets a bit long, but we try to move fast. Dealing with the sugar and heat is tough in the summer, but we stay open. If you’re walking down Gheewalon Ka Rasta, you’ll see us there. It's just a simple place where we make what we know how to make. We don't try to be anything else. Just a local shop doing its thing day in and day out.
