You can find us at B-13 in Transport Nagar. If you know Jaipur, you know this area is basically full of trucks and big warehouses. It’s a loud place. There is always the sound of engines revving and horns honking outside our door. We work with food products, mostly handling the distribution side of things. Our building is a bit old, but it does the job. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the loaders know what goes where. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic, so we are constantly cleaning off the desks. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We eat lunch together in the back room most days. We talk about local news or what’s happening in our families. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We are just a local business trying to get food to where it needs to go. Sometimes the logistics get complicated when a truck breaks down or the traffic is blocked, but we just figure it out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We stay busy and that keeps us out of trouble. The day goes by pretty fast when there are orders to fill. We just focus on the task in front of us.
