Hastha Kala Art N Craft

Hastha Kala Art N Craft is located at 16 Vaishali Nagar, specifically in the Mahadev Nagar area along Gandhi Path. The shop is tucked away in a spot that feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a busy commercial zone. Inside, the shelves are packed with all sorts of handmade items. We have wooden carvings, cloth pieces, and small trinkets that we have collected over time. It can get a bit overwhelming because there is so much to look at in such a small space. I spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the Jaipur air brings in a lot of grit through the front door. We work with different people who make these crafts by hand, so nothing ever looks exactly the same. Some days are very quiet and I just sit behind the counter sorting through new arrivals or fixing a tag that fell off. Other days, people walking along Gandhi Path stop in to browse while they are out running errands. The floor is tile and stays relatively cool, which is nice. We do not have big signs or bright lights, just the items sitting out for people to see. It is a very casual place where you can just walk in and look around at the different textures and colors of the crafts we have on hand.
