You can find our facility at Village Kherki Daula, right along the Delhi - Jaipur Highway. It’s a big stretch of road and we are a familiar sight for people traveling between the two cities. Haldiram Snacks Food Private Limited is the name on the gate. We spend our time making and moving snacks. Being on the highway means things never really go quiet. There are always trucks coming in or leaving. We don't have a fancy city office with a view; our view is the highway and the village surroundings. It’s a practical location for distribution. We handle a lot of volume here. It takes a lot of people to keep the machines running and the packages moving. We aren't into the whole corporate polishing thing. We are just workers and managers trying to get the snacks out on time. The weather out here can be harsh, especially the dust from the road, but we are used to it by now. Most of us have been working here for years. We know the routines inside out. It’s not a complicated life, but it is a busy one. We don’t write long stories about our history. We just focus on the production lines and the logistics. If you drive past Kherki Daula, you’ll see us there. It’s a massive operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just about making snacks and getting them to the shops. That is all we really do from sunrise to sunset.
