H R Palace Restaurant

Our restaurant is inside the Hotel H R Palace, which is at D-157-A on Kabir Marg. We are located in the Bani Park area of Jaipur, not too far from the Collectorate Circle. Being part of a hotel means we see a lot of travelers, but we also have local people from the neighborhood come in. It’s a bit of a mix. The building has its own style, and we just fit into the ground floor area. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to eat while you’re staying here or passing through. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We don't have fancy uniforms, just clean clothes and a willingness to help out. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit backed up when a big group arrives at once, but we just work through it as fast as we can. Jaipur can get incredibly hot, so the indoor seating is usually where everyone wants to be. We keep the place tidy, but it feels more like a home kitchen than a big industrial one. We’re just regular people making food for whoever is hungry. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just buy the ingredients, cook them up, and hope people enjoy their meal. It’s been our way for a long time now here in Bani Park.
