Green Architects

Being based in the 302019 area of Jaipur means we see a lot of the city’s growth every single day. Green Architects is a name we picked because we like the idea of things being a bit more natural, even if the city can be quite dry and brown most of the year. Our setup isn't anything special to look at, just a regular workplace where we keep our computers and a few half-dead office plants that we forget to water sometimes. We spend a lot of our time looking at screen monitors and sketching out ideas for different spaces. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we discuss how to fit everything a person needs into a small plot of land. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions or to see what we are drawing. We aren't the type to wear suits or give big presentations. Mostly, we just wear what is comfortable and talk like normal people about how to make a house feel right. It is a lot of back and forth, changing things and then changing them back again. The work can be a bit slow some days when the creative side of our brains isn't cooperating, but we usually get there in the end. It's just a small group of us trying to make the buildings here look a little better than they did before.
