Architects Paradise

We are right at the corner of Hari Marh on Tonk Road. It’s a busy spot, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. Inside, it’s a different story. We keep things pretty focused on the boards and the screens. The name might sound a bit much, but we are just regular people doing building plans. Most days involve arguing over where a pillar should go or how to get more light into a basement. It’s funny how much time you can spend talking about a window. We get clients who have huge dreams and others who just want a basic two-room setup. We treat them mostly the same because the technical work doesn't really change. You still have to get the levels right and make sure the drainage works. Tonk Road is growing fast, so we see a lot of new stuff coming up around us. Sometimes we go out for a quick bite at the local stalls and talk about the new buildings we see. It’s a job like any other, really. We have our good days when everything fits perfectly on the plan, and bad days when the software crashes. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the buildings we design are solid and don't leak when it rains. It’s honest work, and we stay busy with it from morning until the sun goes down. There is always another drawing that needs to be finished.
