Our place is at F-15 on Tonk Road. It’s a decent-sized space where we handle both the outside of buildings and the inside bits too. You’ll find a lot of fabric swatches and wood samples lying around the office. We think it’s important to actually touch the materials we’re recommending. A lot of people come in because they’ve bought a shell of a house and don't know what to do next. We help them figure out where the furniture should go and what colors might look good without being too much. It’s a bit of a messy process. We start with some rough sketches and then move to the computer. There are usually three or four of us arguing over a floor plan at any given time. We aren't a big corporate firm. We’re just a group of people who like figuring out how to make spaces work better. Tonk Road is always humming with activity, and that energy kind of makes its way into our office. We have people dropping in all day. Sometimes it’s a vendor with new catalogs, and other times it’s a client who is worried about their kitchen cabinets. We just listen and try to help out. It’s a lot of coordination between the workers on site and the drawings we make. It’s busy, it’s noisy, but it’s what we enjoy doing every day. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
