Govind Dal Mill

Govind Dal Mill is located at Plot Number-9-A(2) in the Jhotwara Industrial Area. We are right near the Tata Yard, which makes it easy for the big trucks to find us. The industrial area is a gritty place, full of smoke and noise, but it’s where we belong. We’ve been here for several years now, processing dal for the local markets. The machinery we use is loud and heavy, and when it’s all running at once, you have to shout to be heard. We don't mind much. It's the sound of work getting done. We get bags of raw pulses arriving every day, and we spend our time sorting, cleaning, and milling them. It’s physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift. We have a small crew of guys who know the machines inside and out. We don't have a website or a social media page. Most people know us because they’ve been doing business with us for years. Word of mouth is how we get most of our new customers. We keep our prices fair and try not to complicate things. The office is just a corner with a table and a couple of chairs. We spend most of our time out on the floor anyway, making sure everything is running. It's not fancy, but it works for what we need to do.
