Gopal Sweet & General Store

Gopal Sweet & General Store is a small place at B 14 on Pragati Path in Bajaj Nagar. We have a mix of things here, mostly sweets and then the regular general items that people need for their houses. It’s a bit of a strange mix, but it works for the neighborhood. You can come in for some mithai and pick up a bar of soap or some pens at the same time. The shop isn't very large, and it can get a bit cramped when the afternoon rush hits. We try to keep the sweet counter clean and the glass wiped down. Bajaj Nagar is a nice area, and we have many regulars who live on Pragati Path and stop by daily. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just wake up, set out the trays of sweets, and make sure the general stock is filled up. Sometimes the batches of sweets take longer than expected, so the shop smells like sugar and ghee all morning. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and talking to people. We don't use any fancy corporate language or have a big team of workers. It’s just us behind the counter, trying to keep things organized. If you’re around B 14, you’ll see our sign. It’s a basic shop where you can get a little treat or your daily supplies without any hassle. We just like keeping it simple and local.
