Our business, Ghewar Chand Vinod Kumar Jain, is located at No. D-64 in the New Anaj Mandi, right by Chand Pole Bazar. This is a very old and busy part of the city, and the Anaj Mandi is always full of grain, dust, and shouting traders. We have been part of this market for a long time, and the way we do things hasn't changed much since we started. Dealing in grains and wholesale items means our days start very early, often before the sun is even up, to beat the heat and the crowds. The shop is filled with samples of wheat, pulses, and other staples. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and other merchants, sitting on the cushions on the floor while we negotiate prices. It is a very traditional way of doing business, and we like the personal connection it brings. Chand Pole Bazar is just outside, with all its noise and traffic, but inside the Mandi, it is all about the harvest and the quality of the sacks coming in. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on our name and the fact that people know where to find us at D-64. It is a lot of hard work, especially during the peak seasons, but it is what we know. We just take it one day at a time.
