You can find us at Elegance Jewels over at 1307, Kedia Bhavan. We are located on Gopalji Ka Rasta, which is one of those busy lanes inside Johari Bazar in Jaipur. It’s a very old area and the streets are quite cramped, but this is where all the jewellery action happens. Our place is more of a workshop and office combined. We spend most of our time dealing with finished pieces and custom orders. It’s not like those big malls. You have to walk through the crowded market to get to us. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the noise from the street. We have been here at Kedia Bhavan for a long time. We know the other shopkeepers and the people who walk these lanes every day. Our work involves checking the quality of the settings and making sure the stones are secure. It’s repetitive, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big team of salespeople. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting around a table looking at the latest work. We have some tea, talk about the day’s tasks, and get on with it. The bazar is a maze, but once you know where Gopalji Ka Rasta is, we aren't too hard to find. It’s a very grounded way of doing business, rooted in how things have been done here for generations. We try to keep up with the work as it comes in.
