If you find yourself in Jaipur, you might come across us at 223, Mehamiyaon Ka Gate. We are tucked away in Haldiyon Ka Rasta, right in the heart of Johari Bazar. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and usually filled with scooters and people. Our shop has been in the family for a while. It’s a small room with thick walls that keep it relatively cool even when the Rajasthan sun is beating down outside. We sit on cushions on the floor while we work, which is the traditional way things are done around here. There’s always the smell of street food drifting in from the vendors nearby. It can get very loud in the bazar, but we are used to it and it just feels like home to us now. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you want to see what we have, you have to navigate the lanes and step inside. We spend a lot of time sorting through stones and talking to other traders who pass by. It is a slow and steady kind of life. We take pride in the fact that we do things the old-fashioned way. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish, and the whole market feels different at night. It’s a hardworking place with a lot of history in every corner.
