Coxton Art Centre

You can find us at 1321 Kishanpole Bazar, specifically in the Shah Bhawan building along Ajayabghar Ka Rasta. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are always narrow and full of people walking and biking. Coxton Art Centre is a bit of a squeeze inside. We have frames, canvases, and art supplies piled up everywhere. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but we know where everything is. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the walls are covered in ink stains and old posters. We don’t really have a showroom. It’s more of a workshop where we get things done. People come in with all sorts of requests, from framing old family photos to buying specific paints for their projects. Kishanpole Bazar is a lively place to be. There is always someone shouting or a bike honking outside. It makes for a busy atmosphere. We aren't a big store. It's just a couple of us who know a bit about art materials. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things in the hallway. The building, Shah Bhawan, has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit run down. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are here. We spend our days cutting glass or mixing colors. It's a slow process sometimes, but we like it. It's just a regular old art shop in the middle of a very busy bazaar.
