Clay Craft India Pvt Ltd is based out of F-766 A on Road No 1D. If you come by this way, you’ll see it’s a pretty busy industrial stretch. We’ve got a lot of stuff going on here with the clay products. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, you tend to get some dust on your shoes just walking through the door. The office is right there with the storage and the work areas. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the stock. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it wouldn't make sense with all the activity. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We know the rhythm of the place, from when the trucks show up to when we lock up for the night. Road No 1D can get pretty clogged with lorries, so we have to plan our pickups carefully. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of inventory. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We make things from clay and we sell them. It’s as simple as that. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out right and we have to start over, which is just part of the grind. We eat our lunch together in the small break area. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind getting your hands a bit dirty now and then and dealing with the heat from the machinery.
