Carpet Care

We are over at Jhilai House on Old Amer Road. If you know the area, you know it’s got that old feeling to it. Carpet Care has been operating out of this building for a while. The walls are thick, so it stays a bit cooler in the summer than it does outside, which is a blessing. Old Amer Road is always busy with tourists and locals, but inside Jhilai House, things are a bit slower. We spend a lot of time looking over the details of what we handle. It’s slow work, and you can’t really rush it if you want it done right. Sometimes we sit by the entrance just to get a bit of a breeze and watch the people go by. It’s not a high-tech setup. We have old tables and some chairs that have seen better days. But they work fine for what we need. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we’d rather just focus on the items we have. People usually find us because they’re looking for someone local who knows the area. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us answering the door and talking to people. Sometimes the pigeons get into the rafters and make a bit of a mess, but we just clean it up and keep going. That is just how life is in an old building like this one.
