Chanda Marriage Garden

We run this marriage garden out on Agra Road, near the Chandra Mahal Hotel and the Chun Giri Mandir in Raja Park. It is basically a big open space that people can use for their weddings and family parties. A lot of our work is done outdoors, which means we are at the mercy of the weather. We spend hours every week mowing the grass, watering the plants, and making sure the gates and fences are in good repair. It is a lot of physical labor that most people don't see. We don't have a big office or a team of planners. If you come by, you’ll usually find us outside with a shovel or a broom in our hands. We’ve had all kinds of events here, from small family gatherings to very large weddings with hundreds of people. The noise from Agra Road can be a bit much sometimes, but people don't seem to mind once the music starts playing. We don't use any fancy brochures or marketing talk. We just show people the space and let them decide if it works for them. Most of our business comes from people who live nearby or who have been to a party here before. It is a simple operation, and we just try to keep the grounds looking decent so that families have a nice place to celebrate their big days. We have been doing this for a long time and we plan to keep at it as long as we can.
