Cafe Kooba Restaurant

Cafe Kooba Restaurant is up on the first floor above Shoppers Paradise in C Scheme. We are on Jamna Lal Bajaj Marg, which is always packed with cars and people moving around Jaipur. Being on the first floor is okay because you can look down at the street without being right in the middle of the dust. We have been here for a while and the stairs are a bit steep but people don't seem to mind much. We put together the menu based on what we actually knew how to cook back then. It isn't a huge kitchen but we make it work. Some days are slow and we just sit around watching the traffic, and other days everyone shows up at once and it gets a bit chaotic. That is just how it is in C Scheme. We have some old posters on the walls and the chairs aren't all exactly the same, but it makes the place feel real. We aren't trying to win any awards here. We just want to serve some food and keep the lights on. It gets hot in Jaipur, so the AC is usually working overtime. If you find yourself on Jamna Lal Bajaj Marg and need a break from the shopping, we are just up those stairs. It is a simple place run by people who live nearby and work hard every day to keep things going.
