Apoorva Roasted Namkeen is over in Adarsh Nagar at 181-182. We specialize in roasted snacks because we think they stay fresh longer. It’s a small operation. We have a few roasting machines that make a lot of noise during the day. My uncle and I run the place. We source the grains and pulses ourselves to make sure they are okay. We don't add too many artificial things, just basic spices. The shop is mostly shelves filled with different bags of namkeen. We spend a lot of time weighing things out on the scales. It’s a bit tedious, but it has to be done right. Adarsh Nagar is a nice neighborhood, and we have a lot of regular customers who come by every week. They usually bring their own bags sometimes. We had to fix the roof last year because it started leaking over the storage area. It was a mess for a few days. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just a functional space where we work and sell our stuff. Sometimes the air smells strongly of roasted cumin and black salt. We’re used to it. We keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s just a honest way to make a living at 181-182. We’re here most days from morning until late afternoon.
