American Sweet Corn

Running the American Sweet Corn stall here in Raja Park has its ups and downs. We are located right by Amit Traders on Lane No 1, at number 398. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood and there is always someone walking past. I usually start the day by checking the stock and getting the heaters ready. The smell of the corn usually brings people over even if they weren't planning on eating anything. We have been in Raja Park for a bit and you start to recognize the faces of people who live on Lane No 1. It isn't a big shop or anything, just a simple setup where we serve what we have. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like when it rains really heavy and the street gets messy, but we stay open as long as we can. My cousin helps out in the evenings when the crowd picks up. We don't use any fancy machines or big marketing stuff, just the basic gear to keep the corn hot and ready. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day, but it is okay because the people around here are mostly friendly. We just keep things moving and try to make sure everything is handled properly before we close up at night. It is just a small part of the market here where we do our thing and try not to get in anyone's way.
