Ambikeshwar Arts

Our shop is tucked away at 1919 Ladiwala Street, which is just off Chaura Rasta. If you know Jaipur, you know Chaura Rasta is a main artery of the old city, but our little street is a bit quieter once you turn the corner. Ambikeshwar Arts is basically just a few rooms filled with whatever we are working on at the moment. The light in the old city is beautiful in the afternoons, and it hits the front of the shop just right. We have stacks of paper, brushes, and stone pieces all over the place. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but it’s a creative kind of mess. We’ve been at this address for years, and the neighbors have seen us grow from a tiny operation to what we are now. We don't have any big corporate signs or bright lights. Just the name painted near the door. Most days we are just sitting on the floor or at the small desks, focused on the details of the art. Sometimes customers find us by accident while exploring the lanes, and we enjoy showing them what’s on the benches. The street is narrow enough that you can almost touch the walls on both sides if you stretch your arms. It’s a very traditional setup. We don’t change much around here. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, in this little corner of Ladiwala Street.
