Amar Supari Centre

Down in Chandpole Bazar, things are always moving fast. We are tucked away in Jai Lal Munshi Ka Rasta at number 594. That is where you will find Amar Supari Centre. The lanes around here are narrow and you have to watch where you are walking with all the scooters and people pushing carts. We have been in this part of the city for a long time. The shop itself is small and filled with bags and jars of different things. It smells like spices and old wood inside. I usually sit near the front so I can see people coming down the rasta. Chandpole is a historic place and you can feel that when you work here every day. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the same shelves we have used for years. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of all the traffic outside, but we try to keep the shop in order. People come in for their usual stuff and we chat for a minute before they move on. My father used to work this same spot before me. We don't do any big promotions or anything. We just stay here at 594 Jai Lal Munshi Ka Rasta and keep the business going like it always has been. It is just how things are done in this part of town and we don't expect it to change much even as the years go by.
