Ak Precious

Ak Precious is located at 136-A in Raja Park. It’s a pretty well-known area, so it’s usually quite easy for people to find us. Raja Park has a lot of energy, with people out shopping and eating all the time. Our space at 136-A isn't the biggest on the block, but we’ve made the most of the room we have. We keep things pretty simple inside, with just a few display cases and a small back area where we do most of the administrative work. Dealing with precious items means we have to be careful and organized, though the desk doesn't always look like it. There’s usually a stack of receipts and a few loupes lying around. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and we like the vibe of the local community. It feels more like a small town sometimes because you see the same faces every day. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns minding the front and handling the back-end stuff. The mornings are usually slow, giving us time to clean the glass and get things ready, but it picks up in the evening when the street gets busy. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything, we just show up, do the work, and head home when the shutters go down. It’s a decent way to spend the day in a nice part of the city, just working with our hands and keeping track of everything.
