We are based at 54, Bandhu Nagar, in the V.K.I. Area. It is an industrial part of town, so there are always big trucks moving around and a bit of dust in the air. We call the place an art gallery, but to be honest, it is more like a workshop where things actually get built. We do a lot of framing and some painting too. You will usually see some of the guys out in the back working on large wooden frames or stretching out a new canvas. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We do not have any fancy air conditioning or velvet curtains on the walls. It is a workshop through and through. We have been here for years, and most of our customers are regular people from the city who know exactly where to find us. Sometimes we get big orders from hotels or offices, and then the whole place gets really crowded with stacks of wood and glass. We try to be careful, but when you are working with saw blades and glue, things are going to get a little bit messy. It is a good kind of mess, though. We really like the smell of the cut wood and the fresh paint in the morning. We are not much for giving sales pitches, we just show people what we have made and let them decide. It is honest work.
