Agarwal Papad Udyog

Agarwal Papad Udyog is located at 2281 in Dina Nath Ji Ki Gali. This is right in the heart of Chandpole Bazar. If you know the bazaar, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our place is in one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful not to bump into people. It is an old building that has been used for making papads for a very long time. The smell of lentils and spices is everywhere when you walk in. We don't have a big corporate office. Instead, we have rooms where the work is done and a small area to sit and talk to visitors. The walls are thick and keep the place somewhat cool in the Jaipur heat. We don't do much advertising. People in Chandpole Bazar know the Agarwal name and where to find the gali. Every morning we open the doors and start the process. It involves a lot of manual work, and you can see the staff busy with the dough and the drying process. The street outside is always loud with scooters and people shouting, but inside the Gali, it feels a bit more secluded. It is a traditional way of working that hasn't changed much over the years. We just keep doing what we know, without trying to make it sound like something it isn't. It is hard work, but we like it here.
