Agarwal Flour Mill

Agarwal Flour Mill is located right on M I Road. It’s a busy place to be, with all the cars and people passing by at all hours. You can usually hear the machines hum before you even step inside. We’ve got the grinders going most of the day, so there’s always a fine layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we clean. It’s just the nature of milling grain. We take the sacks in, process them, and get them ready for whoever needs them. It’s loud in here, so we end up shouting to hear each other sometimes. M I Road is a main stretch, so we get all kinds of people stopping by. We don't really have a lobby or a waiting area. It's just the mill and the counter. We’ve been doing this for years, and the routine hasn’t changed much. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or cleaning out a jam. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary. We see families coming in for their monthly supply and small shopkeepers too. We don’t do any fancy packaging; it’s all very basic. We just focus on getting the flour right. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it’s what we know. The day starts early and ends when the last bag is filled. Anyway, that is how we spend our time every single day.
