We are located in Bhagwati Bhawan, right over in Heeda Ki Mori. It’s an area called Shyampuri, on Galta Road. This part of the city has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old walls of the building. Our shop isn't a modern showroom with bright spotlights and glass everywhere. It’s more of a traditional place where we sit and work with the gems. The floors are often covered with rugs and cushions because that’s how we prefer to sit while looking at stones. It’s easier on the back than those cheap office chairs. Galta Road can get quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the glass cases every few hours. There is a lot of chatter from the neighbors and the street vendors outside. We know most of the people around here by name. Sometimes we just sit and have tea with whoever drops by to talk about the latest finds in the market. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but it’s enough for us to see what we are doing with the tweezers and loops. We’ve got scales and small tools scattered on the tables. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where every single stone is kept in the drawers. We don’t really do fancy marketing or anything. People just know we are here in Bhagwati Bhawan and they come find us when they need something specific.
