A One Meat House

The shop is located at Tonk Road Vikas Marg A 28. It’s a busy corner of the city. We get here early to start the prep work before the morning rush starts. It’s mostly just us and the tools we use every day. Keeping everything very clean is a big priority, so a lot of our time is spent with water and brushes. The customers who come to A One Meat House are usually looking for something specific for their dinner. We know a lot of the regulars and what they like. It’s not the kind of place where you stay to chat for a long time, because people are usually in a hurry to get home and cook. The traffic on Tonk Road is always moving, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. Sometimes we play a small radio to drown out the noise of the cars. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day and lifting heavy things. By the time evening comes, we are pretty tired. There is no big corporate office or anything, just this shop and our supplies. Getting the cuts right and making sure the scales are accurate is what we focus on. It’s a basic business, run by people who know the trade. We just keep our heads down and do the job that needs to be done every single day.
