Pawansut Woodlands Restaurant

Main Road Cantt is a pretty good place to be in Jabalpur. Our restaurant, Pawansut Woodlands Restaurant, is located at number 44. It’s a bit different from the crowded city center since the Cantt area has more trees and space. I spend my mornings checking the inventory and making sure the kitchen staff showed up on time. We serve a lot of different things, mostly just standard food people like to eat when they go out with their families. Jabalpur City can get quite busy, but our spot feels a little more relaxed sometimes. We have some regular customers who have been coming here since they were kids. It’s funny to see them grow up. The building is older, so we are always painting something or fixing a leak. It’s not a fancy place with waiters in uniforms, just us in our regular clothes trying to get the orders right. On weekends, it gets a bit noisy with kids running around. I usually sit at the counter and handle the cash. Sometimes I talk to the vegetable vendors who come to the back door. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just open the doors at the same time every day and hope for the best. It’s a lot of hours, but at least we are our own bosses. That’s why we stay here. It is just a normal way to make a living in this part of India.
