Victoria Club & Lounge

We’ve been running the Victoria Club & Lounge on the 5th floor of Treasure Island for a while now. If you know South Tukoganj, you know how busy this part of Indore gets, especially on the weekends. Being up here in the mall means we see a lot of people just wandering in after shopping or before a movie. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy. We spend our mornings moving tables around and making sure the bar is stocked up for the night crowd. It isn't a quiet place. When the music starts, you can feel it in the floor. The staff here are mostly local guys who’ve been with us since we opened. We don’t really do the whole fancy corporate thing. We just show up, open the doors, and try to make sure everyone has a seat. Sometimes the elevators in the mall take forever, so we’re used to people coming in a bit frustrated, but they usually settle down once they get a drink. We deal with a lot of different groups—families during the day, younger people at night. It’s just how it goes here. South Tukoganj is always moving, and we’re just a small part of that 5th-floor rhythm. We’ve seen other places come and go in the mall, but we just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, without making too much of a fuss about it.
