Sundaram Restaurant

You can find Sundaram Restaurant at 18/1, Jail Road in Indore. We've been at this 452001 location for quite some time. Jail Road is always moving, lots of shops and people everywhere. Our place is tucked in between a few other stores. It’s not the biggest restaurant you’ll ever see. We have a row of tables and a small kitchen in the back. The cooks have been with us for years, they know what they’re doing. We don't have those fancy digital menus. Everything is written down or we just tell you what we've got today. Sometimes we get a big rush around dinner time and it gets a bit loud. The fans in the ceiling do their best but Indore summers are tough. We mostly serve local folks who live nearby or work on Jail Road. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't spend money on interior decorators. We just painted the walls a few years back. If you want a place to sit down and eat without any fuss, that's what we are. We close up pretty late most nights. Cleaning up takes a while. Then we do it all over again the next morning. It’s a simple life running a restaurant here. We don't have a big corporate team, just us. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just use the candles and keep going.
