Shree Gajanand Bhojnalay

We are located at number 125 on Jawahar Marg in Indore. It’s a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our doors. Shree Gajanand Bhojnalay is a place where we focus on simple meals for everyday people. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and provide something the neighborhood needed. Jawahar Marg is a long road with lots of shops and businesses, so we get a lot of local workers coming in for their daily meals. The kitchen is the heart of our bhojnalay. We start early in the morning, getting the vegetables and grains ready for the day. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring, but we’re used to it by now. The space inside isn't huge, so it can feel a bit cramped when the lunch rush starts, but people don't seem to mind too much. They just want a hot meal and a place to sit for a minute. My wife helps out with the accounts and sometimes she’s in the kitchen too when we’re really busy. We don’t go in for fancy advertisements or anything like that. Most of our customers come here because they work nearby or they’ve heard about us from a friend. It’s a steady business and we’re happy to be part of the Indore community. Every day is pretty much the same, but we like the routine of it all. We just keep the stove going and the plates ready for whoever comes in.
