Shraddha Chinese Point

Shraddha Chinese Point is our little food joint in Indore. We are right at Pardesipura Square, near the Shivdham Mandir Gate. It is located in the HIG-MIG area of Pardesipura, 452003. Like a lot of places in Indore, we focus on quick food that people can eat on the go or standing up. We specialize in Indo-Chinese stuff—lots of noodles, fried rice, and Manchurian. You can hear the sound of the wok clanging all evening. We have a couple of burners going at once, and there is always steam and the smell of garlic in the air. The square is a busy place, especially when people are coming from the temple or heading home from work. We do not have a fancy dining room. It is more of a street-side feel where the food is made right in front of you. Sometimes the pavement gets a bit crowded with people waiting for their parcels. We use a lot of plastic plates and spoons because it is easier to manage the crowd. The staff is just a few of us working the pans and taking the cash. We have been here at Pardesipura for a good while, and we have seen the neighborhood change, but people’s love for spicy Chinese food stays the same. It is just a simple stall doing its thing every day, rain or shine. We focus on getting the flavors right for the local spice level and keeping the line moving.
