Shivalay Restaurant

Shivalay Restaurant is located inside the Hotel Divya Palace building. We are over by the Malwa Mill Square, specifically at 51 New Dewas Road. If you know Indore well, you know the Malwa Mill area gets really crowded during the day. We are right opposite the Chandragupt Talkies, just off the Y N Road. It is a lot of hard work running a kitchen in this part of town. We start very early in the morning to get the stoves hot and all the vegetables chopped up. Most of the staff has been working with us for a good long while now. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood coming in for a meal. Being near the square means there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by the windows. It is not exactly a quiet place, but it is where we do our work. We serve meals to the people staying in the hotel and also folks just coming in from the street. The address is 452003, right in the thick of things. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic during the lunch or dinner rush, but we manage to get through it. We are not trying to be some five-star place. We just cook and serve. The menu is simple and we try to keep the tables clean and the food hot. It is just a normal life at Shivalay Restaurant.
