Sai Prasad Bhojnalay

Sai Prasad Bhojnalay is a small place located at 23-24 Rani Sarai in Chhoti Gwaltoli. We are very close to the Chhoti line Railway station area in Indore, so we get a lot of travelers and people who work around the tracks. It is a very basic bhojnalay, the kind where you come to eat a simple thali or some everyday vegetables and roti. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly just white tiles and stainless steel plates. We start early in the morning to get the lentils and vegetables ready for the lunch rush. Since we are near the railway, things can get pretty fast-paced when a train is coming or going. The seating is tight, and you might end up sharing a table with a stranger if it’s busy. We don't mind that, and the customers don't seem to either. It is an honest way to make a living. We have been in this spot for years and have seen the city change around us. The food is just like what you would find in a normal home kitchen. We don't use many fancy spices or heavy creams. It is just food for the working man and the traveler. We stay open until the dinner crowd thins out. It's not a complicated life, just providing a simple meal to those who need it.
