Rice & Dal Family Restaurant

Our place, Rice & Dal Family Restaurant, is sitting at Plot No. 86 in Ratnalok Colony. This is over in the Vijay Nagar part of Indore, which is a pretty popular area these days. We are quite close to the BSNL Telecom Circle office, so we get a lot of folks from there walking by. Being in the 452010 area code means things are usually moving along at a good pace. The colony itself is mostly residential, so it feels a bit like home. We aren't some big chain restaurant with hundreds of locations. We are just this one spot on Plot 86. We spend our time making sure the place is clean and ready for families to come sit down. It’s not always perfect; sometimes the furniture gets a bit worn or the fans are a little loud, but it’s a real place. We don't use any of those big marketing words. We just talk like normal people because that’s who we are. Some days it is quiet and we just sit and talk with the neighbors. Other days, the lunch rush keeps us on our feet until we are exhausted. That is just how the restaurant business goes. We like being in Vijay Nagar and being part of the daily routine for the people who live in Ratnalok Colony.
