Pakwaan Family Restaurant

We're over in Vijay Nagar, Indore, right at Scheme No. 54. The restaurant is on the first floor, FF-4. It’s directly across from the Power House, which is a big landmark around here. Apollo Hospital is also nearby, so we get a lot of people who are in the area for that. Vijay Nagar has changed a lot over the years, getting much busier. Our place is usually full of families, especially in the evenings when things cool down a bit. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just run a kitchen. Some days are smoother than others. We might have a busy lunch run where every table is full and the waiters are running around like crazy. Other times it's a bit slower and we just sit and talk. We’ve got the typical Indore vibe here. The staff knows how to handle the rush. We deal with the usual repairs and maintenance that come with an older building. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up and we have to get someone in to fix it. It's just part of the job. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby colonies. They know where we are and what to expect. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing. It’s a steady rhythm. Nothing too complicated about it.
