On The Rocks

We are situated on the first floor of the Velocity Multiplex on Ring Road in Indore. It’s very close to the Radisson Hotel, so there is always a lot of movement in this area. Being inside a multiplex means we get a lot of people who are either waiting for a movie to start or have just finished watching one. It’s a bar and restaurant where people can sit and talk. Ring Road is one of the busiest parts of Indore, so it’s usually quite loud outside with all the cars and trucks. Inside, we have our own space. We have been operating here for a few years now. It’s not a quiet library kind of place; it’s usually got some music playing and people talking loudly. We don't go for a very polished or corporate look. We just have the tables, the bar, and the kitchen in the back. The menu has the usual stuff that people in Indore like to eat when they go out. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just make sure the food is ready and the drinks are cold. Sometimes the mall gets really crowded on holidays, and we have to work a bit harder to keep up. It's a busy life, but we like being right where the action is. Most regulars come here for the atmosphere.
